Recapifai ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Recapifai mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

Information We Collect

• Account data: Your Apple ID (anonymised identifier) and display name when you sign in with Apple.
• YouTube data: If you choose to connect your YouTube account, we access your YouTube subscription list (read-only) solely to suggest channels for your custom feed. We do not store, share, or modify your YouTube data beyond this purpose.
• Usage data: App interactions, selected categories, and playback events to improve the service.
• Payment data: Subscription purchases are processed by Apple and RevenueCat. We do not store payment card information.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalise your daily audio summaries.
• To manage your subscription and account.
• To improve the app and diagnose technical issues.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the app (hosting, analytics, payment processing) and as required by law.

YouTube API Services

Recapifai uses the YouTube API Services. By connecting your YouTube account you also agree to Google's Privacy Policy. You can revoke Recapifai's access to your YouTube account at any time via Google's security settings.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time via Settings → Delete Account in the app.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
